George Carlin.
Man, Carlin and Vonnegut in one year. It seems my idols are dropping like flies. Well, just a good reminder to go back and examine their life's works yet again. In the meantime, here's a little thing I did in honor of George. Hope you like it.

That was awesome. And I agree, it is sad as fuck to see him go.
ReplyDeleteVonnegut died in 07. Maybe they perished within 12 months of one another- IDK. However, I can say with the authority vested in me by my iron-clad memory reinforced by the journalistic excellence of wikipedia, that these two traumatic events did not in fact occur within the same calender year. Still it be sad. What's next? Is a hunter going to find JD Salinger's 5 year old rotting corpse in a secluded cabin in upstate New York? Or maybe Joseph Heller will have a brain aneurism (I think he's still alive) or die in a plane crash. Just thought I'd clarify.
